Matcha (powder)

Matcha is a powdered green tea made by grinding Tencha, a Japanese green tea, in a tea mill.
Matcha from Kyoto Uji tea, one of the top brands in Japan, is very valuable.

Tencha is a type of green tea that is cultivated in the same way as “Gyokuro”, a type of Japanese green tea,
and the steamed leaves are dried without rubbing. Tencha is then ground in a stone mortar to a powdered form,
which is called “Matcha“.
Matcha from Kyoto Uji tea, one of the top brands in Japan, is very valuable.
It is originally used in the tea ceremony in Japan.
100% organic, produced in Ujidawara, Kyoto.

Matcha is also used to make famous desserts such as parfaits, ice cream, and cakes.
Please note that not all green powdered teas are “matcha”.
